Charlotte Hooley

My passion for the arts, like most, started while I was young. Being a shy kid, I spent most of my time expressing myself through drawing and painting. My biggest influence is my older brother who would inspire me with his creativity in storytelling and world building. However, while he would focus on the backstory of his characters my interests were always more focused on their apparel. I have grown to develop my style and technique through the years by experimentation and practice. I transferred to an LA art school for my tenth grade year but after realizing I wasn’t getting what I wanted from the program I found myself at CSArts starting my junior year and have enjoyed it since.

Next school year I plan to major in fashion merchandising and management at Cal State Long Beach. I want to learn more about the industry that intrigues me. My goal is to one day work in the fashion industry. For the upcoming years I want to spend time focusing on my health and happiness as well.
