I have been drawing for most of my life.  I started out drawing horses when I was a wee child. My mom had a book of pretty girls and handsome boys she drew when she was around 17 to 19, and that was my biggest inspiration when I was little. I had first started drawing people in 1st grade when I was given a Pichi Pichi Pitch anime coloring book. The book had grown my passion and interest in drawing princesses and mermaids. The biggest art project throughout my art journey was a comic book I made in sixth grade. The characters’ names were based on my friends and I, and was about two girls going to a fantasy world of royalty and magic. It took on many revisions in 7th grade to 9th grade, but it was never finished. I took art classes in different periods throughout my life, and I think they have strengthened my ability to render. In 9th grade, I started drawing men from K-Pop, and that was when I started to draw more realistically. At the same time I also started to use Instagram, and the exposure to professional artists had made me realize what art can be and made me strive harder to improve. These periods of my life shaped how I am as an artist today-- a little bit of anime and a little bit of realism, and a good amount of motivation to keep growing my skills.

My plans for the future are still foggy. I am planning to attend CSUF for Illustration, but I also have thoughts of going to LCAD. For my personal art goals, I hope to be able to draw people with correct anatomy. I want to study more of the basics like anatomy, how fabric folds, how to color lighting, etc. I also want to practice drawing environments more because it's an important part of illustration-- to be able to create a world, whether it exists or is from fantasy. As a personal goal, I want to keep improving myself as a person, whether it is my work habits, attitude, or knowledge.
